Growler hosted Scott Arms Spartans for the chance to go top of the Sutton League. Growler started the half strong controlling possession and dictating the game.

Despite this Scott arms took the lead in the first half scoring a quick counter. Growler continued to control the game and finished the half the better team despite the score line.

After giving away penalty 2 minutes into the second half and a great strike from the opposition Growler found themselves 3-0 with 35 minutes left on the clock.

After a memorable 5 minute cameo from Owen Diegan interim manager Callum Lee decided to change shape by adding an extra attacker to the mix pushing Cooper from CB to ST. The change seemed to play dividends with Cooper slotting one past the keeper with an assist from William Howell.

With 30 minutes left Growler continued to battle with Cooper hitting the post not long after his goal. Scott arms put the Game to bed with a goal in the 89” minute finishing the game 1-4.
